UPDATE: Arrests made in Spenard shots fired investigation

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — Update: Friday, 2:54 p.m.:
Three adult males and a juvenile were arrested in Government Hill in connection to a shots fired investigation that began in Spenard Thursday evening, and a fourth arrested in Spenard.

According to Anchorage police, while police were investigating reports of shots fired near the 800 block of West 29th Pl., witnesses reported seeing several people with guns in the area at the time of the shooting.

One suspect was found inside an apartment building where the shooting took place and arrested.

Meanwhile, while police were investigating that shooting, a second report of shots fired in the 900 block of Richardson Vista Rd. in Government Hill came in around 8:30 p.m.

Officers at that scene found evidence of a shooting in front of an apartment building there, and located two suspects from the W. 29th Pl. with several weapons in their possession.

A third person in the apartment was questioned and arrested.

Angel Martinez Jr., 19, Cloyd Lacap Jr., 20, and Jordan Campbell, 24, were all arrested and charged with misconduct involving a weapon. Campbell was additionally charged for being a felon in possession of a weapon.

Another juvenile suspect was charged and taken to McLaughlin Youth Center.

No one was injured in either shooting.

Police are asking anyone with information or surveillance video related to either investigation to call APD Dispatch at 311.

Anchorage police are responding to reports of shots fired in the area of Arctic Blvd and W. 29th Place, which are reported to be closed off by a heavy police presence in the area.

According to APD Dispatch, the shooting was first reported at 7:26 p.m.

A KTUU viewer reported seeing a suspect firing a shotgun. However, that claim could not be independently verified.

It's not known if anyone has been injured, or if anyone has been apprehended.
