ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - The Attorney General’s office says a 46-year-old Anchorage man will serve 47 years behind bars for multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor.
An Anchorage jury convicted Andrew Horton in February of two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, four counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree, and one count of Interference with Official Proceedings.
Judge Saxby instead sentenced Horton to 60 years with 13 years suspended for a total of 47 years of active incarceration. Horton will be on probation for 15 years and required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
