ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — Colder air will bring on a snowfall event in parts of the Matanuska-Susitna Valley overnight and early Wednesday.
Temperatures will drop to the 20s and low 30s and up to 5" of snow could fall. 1-2" are possible in Anchorage.
Precipitation may start falling as rain, but overnight it will become rain-snow or snow showers, numerous at times.
Snowfall may be occurring during the morning commute, so be careful.
Roads aren't expected to see snow accumulations, but may be wet.
Daytime temperatures will be in the 40s, and much of the snow could melt.
