ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - A Holiday gas station employee was threatened with a gun this morning before fleeing, and Anchorage police are looking for a suspect involved in the reported armed robbery.

According to a dispatch supervisor with the Anchorage Police Department, the Holiday gas station on Jewel Lake and 88th Avenue was the scene of a crime just before 6 a.m.

A man armed with a gun entered the gas station and allegedly threatened the employee there while displaying a gun. The Holiday employee then gave over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man left the gas station.

APD did not have a photograph of the suspect available at this time, but they will review security footage. The suspect was described as a man, about 6 feet tall, and dressed all in black.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
