ANCHORAGE (KTUU) An Anchorage teen admitted to participating in a shooting before his alleged involvement in the death of Juanita Lolesio, according to charging documents filed in the case.

The documents reveal 19-year-old Christopher Wayne Espiritu-Simpson admitted to participating in an incident reported as shots fired on December 27, 2017. A juvenile is also facing charges in the two cases.

That night around 1:44 a.m., police were called to the 6700 Block of Stella Place. “There were juveniles asleep in a room where four bullet holes were found, one striking the television, another penetrating the wall,” charging documents said.

Documents also reveal that 9mm Luger and .380 shell casings were found during the investigation and those casings matched bullet fragments found just days later on Dec. 30 at 140 Oklahoma Street, in which Juanita Lolesio was shot while on a party bus. She later died.
