TRAPPER CREEK, Alaska (AP) - A 66-year-old California man was critically injured when his car crossed the centerline of the Parks Highway and sideswiped a pickup.
Alaska State Troopers say the crash caused both vehicles to roll.
The crash occurred just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday near Trapper Creek.
Investigators say a southbound car driven by William Netro crossed the centerline and struck a one-ton truck driven by 32-year-old Thomas Mosimann of Switzerland.
A Life-Med helicopter transported Netro to an Anchorage hospital.
Netro's passenger and two people in the truck were taken by ground ambulance to a hospital. Both vehicles were demolished.
Trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters says all involved wore seat belts. She says hometowns for Netro and Mosimann are not available.
