Chugiak-Eagle River library closed indefinitely due to damage from November 30 earthquake

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - According to the an announcement on the Anchorage Public Library website, effective May 10, the Chugiak-Eagle River Library is closed indefinitely due to damage caused by the November 30 earthquake.

Damage to the library was found during a recent inspection. Work on the building begins May 11.

The library is asking people to return their items to another APL library location, as the dropbox at Eagle River will also be closed.
