KODIAK, Alaska (KTUU) - The City of Kodiak is still trying to get rid of a former "floating strip club" that created tension in the town and drew attention during a series of hearings to get it shut down.

The Kodiak Daily Mirror reports the P/V Wild Alaskan vessel was impounded on Dec. 20 of last year. The boat has been held in the Kodiak shipyard ever since.

The city began advertising the vessel as available for purchase by the highest bidder, but no bids were put in.
