Cooler air moves down as winds pick up in Southcentral Wednesday

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Temperatures stay in the 20s on Wednesday after a high of 37 degrees in Anchorage on Tuesday.

We warm up to 22 degrees Wednesday under partly cloudy skies with winds out of the northwest at 15 mph.

Down to 10 degrees Wednesday night under clear skies as winds minimize.

Up to 17 degrees Thursday with sunny skies and then down to 2 degrees Thursday Night. Friday we warm back up to 19 degrees while under mostly sunny skies.

Nome Weather

Partly sunny, with a high near -2 as well as north winds around 5 mph.

Nome Wednesday Night Weather

Partly cloudy, with a low around -9. as well as east winds 5 to 10 mph.
