KETCHIKAN, Alaska (KTUU) Members of the U.S. Coast Guard in Ketchikan rescued four people on board a fishing vessel after it was reported to have been grounded and taking on water Saturday.
The fishing vessel, Nata Ella was located on the southwest side of Bold Island.
“The Station Ketchikan crew provided the Nata Ella crew with a dewatering pump to alleviate the water coming on board,” according to the release from the Coast Guard.
No injuries were reported. This was one of two search and rescues performed by the Coast Guard across the state on Saturday.
