Four arrested after vehicle stolen from Midas becomes scene of crime

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Anchorage Police Department says that a vehicle stolen from a Midas lot on Saturday became the scene of four arrests.

On Sept. 9, APD says they responded to the area of E 12th Avenue and Fairbanks Street in reference to the report of a male who had fired shots into the air. That occurred around 12:24 p.m.

Police say that the investigation found that a 33-year-old Evan H. Roland and an adult female were sitting in the stolen Jeep Liberty in a lot on the 500-block of E 12th when 41-year-old Glenn A. Walls II arrived on foot asking for the location of another female. Police say Walls then walked over to a motorhome parked on the lot and began banging on it as he believed the woman he was looking for was inside. At some point Walls used the butt of a handgun to hit the RV’s window, breaking the glass.

Officers arrived to find people still around the area.

The initial investigation resulted in the arrests of the following suspects:

-Glenn Walls, who was found inside the RV trailer; he was arrested and charged with Assault III.
-Evan Roland, who was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
-28-year-old Kelsey L. Brame, who was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Despite this, officers weren't able to find enough evidence for probable cause about the stolen vehicle. No evidence of any shots fired was found, and that noise reported by some neighbors was that of glass breaking.

Police say that there were no injuries.
