Gaslight Bar shooting suspect indicted for attempted murder


ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - An Anchorage grand jury indicted 27-year-old Reynaldo Armstead for a shooting that happened inside the Gaslight Lounge on October 26, 2019, according to a release from the Alaska Department of Law.

Armstead was indicted on a number of charges including Attempted First Degree Murder and Assault.

"If convicted at trial, Armstead faces a sentence of up to 99 years imprisonment for attempted murder, up to 20 years on the first degree assault charges, up to 10 years for the attempted first degree assault and weapons misconduct charges, and up to 5 years for the third degree assault charges," said DOL in an Anchorage Police press release.

Armstead is currently in jail.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
