ANCHORAGE (KTUU) Beer and Bacon are reason enough to get excited but when you pair those delectable delicacies with a charitable effort it's even better. For the third year in a row, the "Beer and Bacon" festival will be raising money to help others. The organizers choosing to donate to Covenent House this year, an organization aimed at helping homeless youth.
Upwards of 40 vendors and organizations will participate in the festival which is now entering its seventh year. Only 1000 tickets are sold for the event and it is already sold out.
The Beer and Bacon Festival is held Saturday, July 27th at The Lakefront hotel.
