Since 1986, Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington has granted wishes to more than 6,000 children, nearly 400 of whom are from Alaska, with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Currently, there are more 40 children in Alaska awaiting their wishes and there are more who qualify for our services, yet do not know about us.

The organization is in dire need of airline mileage donations in order to grant wishes to all eligible children. An average plane ticket costs $500. Through mileage donations, they can keep our costs low and grant more wishes.
