ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — A juvenile was arrested after a threat directed at Mirror Lake Middle School for Friday was found scrawled on a bathroom wall Thursday.
According to a release from Anchorage Police and confirmed by the Anchorage School District, School Resource Officers with Anchorage Police were notified of the message found written on the wall of a girls' bathroom around 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
Staff and officers were able to determine the identity of the student believed to have written the threat, who was questioned and arrested.
APD says no weapons were found.
Charges have been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
