Light winds early but increasing with continued cloud cover

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Highs in the mid 50's on Friday with 15 mph winds, cloudy but dry.

Cloudy to mostly cloudy Friday in Anchorage with a high of 57 degrees as well as winds out of the south at 15 mph but up to 30 mph along Turnagain Arm and in higher elevations. We drop down to 43 degrees Friday night while under mostly cloudy skies but transitioning to mostly clear with winds reducing to a variable 10 mph after Midnight.

We will be under partly sunny skies early on Saturday becoming cloudy later on. Light winds will turn to out of the southwest at 15 mph with 25 mph gusts later. We drop down to 41 degrees Saturday night.

Looking ahead, Anchorage will be partly sunny on Sunday while we warm up to 61 degrees.
