ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - An all-local film, Chance, created by Norberto De Jesús Jr, Zayn Roohi, Sebastian Baquero, and Traejen Scott with the support of Upper One Studios and Eissej Films highlight tough issues in Anchorage that often times go unnoticed.
On the streets of Anchorage, Chance, the main character becomes homeless.
"The film touches up on some of the issues we see here in Anchorage. Alcoholism homelessness. The main character he is just like us. He is just a young guy, went to college pursing his passion of acting," says De Jesús Jr.
A press screening at the Alaska Experience Theater will be held tonight at 7 o'clock.
Tickets are available at the door for five dollars. Part of the films proceeds will go to the Brother Francis Shelter.
A full premiere will be held in August.
