ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - A man has been arrested following a Sunday stabbing in Anchorage.
At around 4:55 p.m. Sunday, patrol officers were sent to an apartment building on the 200 block of N. Park St. for reports of a stabbing.
In a Nixle release, police said the preliminary investigation found that there was an argument between 24-year-old Blaine Williamson and another man, the two of whom were roommates. The altercation "turned physical when one of them stabbed the other."
The man who was stabbed was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Williamson stayed back, eventually taken into custody by Anchorage police and remanded at the Anchorage Jail on the charge of Assault I, along with an existing misdemeanor warrant for Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
Police said the incident is considered isolated and that there are no outstanding suspects.
