More snow predicted for Easter than Anchorage saw on Christmas Day last year

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Roads are in bad shape after overnight snow that continues into Friday morning and afternoon, and it's not over yet.

Anchorage will be cloudy after some early snowfall with a high of 40 degrees Friday.

Then, the city will drop down to 31 degrees overnight with a 50 percent chance of snow Friday night.

Looking to the weekend, there is a 50 percent chance of rain and snow Saturday with a high of 42 degrees and a low of 32 degrees.

Looking ahead, we will be cloudy and 41 degrees on Sunday, and more snow could out pace the meager snowfall during Christmas.
