ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Saturday, November 30 will mark one year since the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that took Alaskans by surprise.

After the shaking stopped, all across Anchorage, city workers and citizens took immediate action to help their neighbors and make sure the city was soon up and running.
Channel 2's Maria Downey spoke with Anchorage City manager, Bill Falsey to find out what was happening behind the scenes during the tense aftermath.
