ANCHORAGE (KTUU)- Proposition No. 4 on the 2018 Municipal Election Ballot is for $3.65 million for Anchorage Parks and Recreation Service Area. It would provide funding for parks, trails and improvements projects.
Maeve Nevin-Lavtar, Senior Park Planner for the Municipality of Anchorage said ten improvement projects are included in the bond.
Nevin-Lavtar said, Even though the number is 3.65 million, if it is broken down to pay for projects all across the city.
If the bond is passed a $1.41, per year on $100,000 of assessed property tax, would be passed to Anchorage homeowners.
