Person of interest in triple homicide turns himself in to troopers

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - According to Alaska State Troopers, Juan Camarena, a person of interest in a triple homicide near Wasilla, called troopers on Thursday morning and arranged a meet up location in Wasilla.

Troopers say that at about 11:30 a.m., Camarena was taken into custody without incident on an unrelated warrant regarding federal charges.

28-year-old Alyssa Jimenez, 25-year-old Michael Attwood, and 37-year-old Donna Marie Campos were all found dead in an area near mile 10 of Knik Goose Bay Road between Nov. 3 and 5.

Troopers say the investigation is continuing.
