ANCHORAGE (KTUU)- Anchorage police say the deaths of two people found Sunday morning on the Ship Creek Trail near Downtown appear to be homicides.

Police for the first time identified the deceased today as Brianna Foisy, 20, and Jason Netter Sr., 41, both of Anchorage. A passerby found the pair dead on a bike path to the west of Post Road and Viking Drive.

No arrests have been made in the case. Police have not said how the two were killed nor described the nature of their relationship.

"They knew one another -- the extent of which we don't know yet," wrote police spokeswoman Renee Oistad in an email.

Their bodies will be autopsied, Oistad said.

They were discovered during a deadly Fourth of July weekend in Anchorage that claimed four lives. Fatal shootings reported, separately, Saturday in Mountain View and Monday on Lore Road. In yet another case, two people were injured Sunday in a Mountain View shootout, according to APD.
