Police looking for men they say assaulted boy at middle school

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — Editor's Note: This story has been updated with the correct time of the assault. Police say they were first called at 11:46 p.m. on Wednesday.

Anchorage police are looking for two men suspected of assaulting a minor in Mountain View.

Police say they were called to Clark Middle School at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday. According to the investigation, a boy was walking at the school when he was approached by two men playing basketball.

The men allegedly had a conversation with the boy and asked him to play basketball with them. When he declined and continued to walk away, the men became verbally aggressive and attacked the boy, according to APD.

The boy's injuries are non-life threatening.

One of the men is described as a lighter-skinned man, in his early to mid-20s, between 6’1” and 6’3” with corn rows or dreadlocks. The other man is described as a darker-complected man in his early to mid-20s, around 5’10” and with a stocky build.
