Roadtrippin': Roadside pit stop at a Seward Highway jerky stand

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Heading southbound from Anchorage on the Seward Highway in this week’s Roadtrippin’ Alaska, we decided to stop by a roadside jerky stand to pick up some snacks.

Owner of Tony’s Killer Jerky, Tony Langford, said he “can’t take the heat of the Lower 48 anymore” so has been selling beef jerky during the Alaska summers for a number of years. Langford said he's a military veteran who lost his leg in the Korean War and now makes a living out of his RV.

Check out our first pit stop above.
