KENNICOTT Alaska (KTUU) - Past waterfalls and Alaskan flowers, this Roadtrippin' tour took us off the beaten path and out into some pristine nature.
Channel 2's Rebecca Palsha got the chance to trek around on Root Glacier in the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park and Preserve.
Even with the cooler weather and the rain falling, this half day glacier trail hike had icy landscapes and mountain views in every direction.
The National Park and Preserve calls this two-mile hike an easy to moderate hike, which makes it a very popular adventure.
To top off a near perfect day, the hike to glacier could make someone pretty thirsty, and waiting at the end is a well deserved, cold drink of fresh glacier water.
