Roadtrippin' takes to the skies on a flightseeing tour above McCarthy
Our Roadtrippin' series continues with Channel 2's Hank Davis trading in the roads for the skies on a flightseeing tour above McCarthy, with views of the Wrangell Mountains, glaciers, and the Kennecott Mines.
Flying thousands of feet above sea level, the crew was able to see some truly spectacular sights, including Channel 2's Rebecca Palsha and her group getting to hike around on Root Glacier.
After peering down and waving at the hikers, the pilot took the crew to see some historical sights, like the Erie Mine from the early 1900's.
While the weather wasn't perfect, the tour still had quite the view.
