Second man arrested for Fairbanks woman's death, with conspiracy charge

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Alaska State Troopers have arrested a second man regarding the death of a Fairbanks woman. In a Trooper dispatch posted online, Troopers say Jerad Zabriskie, 27, was indicted Thursday by a grand jury for charges of first-degree murder and solicitation to commit first-degree murder.

A $10 million warrant was issued for Zabriskie. Thursday evening, Zabriskie was arrested at his home, the same home on Yankovich Road where 69-year-old Trisha Pearson was found dead on May 13.

Troopers have already arrested 25-year-old Patrick Marsh, who they say killed Pearson and stole her Jeep Cherokee from the home. Marsh was arrested on May 17, and faces one charge of first-degree murder.

Zabriskie is scheduled to be arraigned in court Friday. Both Zabriskie and Marsh are scheduled to appear in court again Wednesday, May 29.
