Stranger Things fans can let out a sigh of relief, Hopper is alive!

Friday the

season 4 teaser was released showing everyone’s favorite Hawkins Sheriff alive in Russia.

In a video posted on the show’s official social media platforms, you can see Hopper, played by David Harbour, working on the railroad tracks in Russia.

After last season's cliff hanger that saw Hopper supposedly sacrifice himself in order for Joyce, played by Winona Ryder, to escape, many thought it was the end for the sheriff.

But as a season 3 post-credits video show, operatives at a Russian facility made mention of an “American” being held in their custody. The new teaser for season 4 confirms Hopper is that captive.

Currently, there is no date set in stone for when fans can expect season 4.
