The Fishing Report: September 13, 2018 - The last fishing report of the season!

Mat-Su Valley
—You can still catch some coho this week. Check out Talkeetna River, Montana Creek or Kashwitna River!
—Rainbow trout fishing on area streams are excellent. These streams are also producing fair catches of Arctic grayling and Dolly Varden.
—Want to take the kids lake fishing this weekend? Try Klaire and Victor Lakes. Wild lakes performing well include Nancy, Big, and Bonnie Lakes.

Anchorage
—Trout and Dolly Varden fishing continues to be excellent on Campbell Creek. Try fishing egg imitation flies or trout beads behind spawning salmon. Flesh flies will begin to produce catches of trout as Chinook salmon spawning draws to an end.
—Looking to catch some rainbow trout this weekend? Cheney and Campbell Point Lakes have been consistently producing catches.

Kenai
—Fishing for rainbow trout and Dolly Varden on the Kenai River has been good to excellent. Fishing is expected to be good into October.
—Plenty of fall and winter fishing opportunities exist. Many lakes across from the Northern Kenai Peninsula are stocked with rainbow trout, Arctic char, land locked salmon, and Arctic grayling.
