The United Way of Anchorage is Walking for Warmth Friday
The United Way of Anchorage is making sure no family is left out in the cold this winter.
The Walk for Warmth is this Friday and raises awareness and money for families on the brink of eviction and/or utility cutoffs to keep them housed, warm, and working toward financial stability.
This is the 7th time the organization has hosted the walk You can register at the event starting at 4:45 pm Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, 616 West 10th Avenue.
United Way director of volunteers and community engagement Kelsey Preece stopped by the Channel Two studio to give us the details of the event.
