Two Alaska men killed in double murder, authorities say committed by same man

SEWARD, Alaska (KTUU) - Monday afternoon, a report was made of a shooting in Seward. When authorities investigated those fired shots, they found two men dead, and arrested another.

Dustin Marx, age 28 of Seward, and Michael White, age 40 also of Seward, were shot and killed, according to the Alaska State Troopers, some time around 6 p.m. on April 15.

Joseph Chandler, age 30 of Seward, was arrested by troopers, and charged with their murder.

Details regarding the shooting such as how and why it happened, were not released by AST. Channel 2 has made a request for more information and the story will be updated when it is presented.

Chandler was charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree and remanded to Seward Jail where he was held without bail.
