UPDATE: Northbound Glenn Hwy reopened at Knik River Bridge after three-vehicle collision

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — Update: 3:37 p.m.:
Northbound lanes of the Glenn Highway at Knik Bridge have been reopened, but delays may continue according to APD.

Northbound Glenn Highway traffic is being re-routed to the Old Glenn Highway due to a vehicle collision near Knik River Bridge Wednesday afternoon.

According to Alaska State Troopers, emergency vehicles are on the scene of a three vehicle wreck.

KTUU viewers have reported a large presence of Troopers responding to the area.

Two people were taken to the hospital; two others refused transport.

The severity of injuries is unknown, by Alaska State Troopers say everyone involved was communicating with emergency crews.

It's unknown how long traffic will be affected. AST asks for drivers to be patient while emergency crews are on the scene.
