ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - A Wasilla woman was flown to Providence Alaska Hospital in Anchorage after her SUV rolled over multiple times, ejecting and seriously injuring her.

Just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Carissa Francine Cloe,42, of Wasilla, was driving a 2001 Ford Expedition westbound near mile 7.0 of Fairview Loop Road.

That's when she "lost control of her vehicle and skidded off the roadway," Alaska State Troopers wrote in a dispatch report.

The SUV then rolled multiple times down an embankment, ejecting Cloe, and causing serious injuries. She was then taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, and flown to Providence from there for further treatment.

AST said speed appeared to be a factor, and that Cloe was not wearing a seatbelt. The SUV was a total loss.
