Allie Ostrander gets first professional victory at 2020 Millrose Games

Anchorage (KTUU) She's got her first professional win under her belt. Allie Ostrander won the women's 3000 meter race at the 2020 Millrose Games in New York City this weekend.

The Kenai Central and Boise State alum won with a time of 8:48.94, a personal best. Ostrander came from behind to beat Canada's Julie-Anne Staehli with a time of 8:49.01.

This is the first time an Alaskan has won at the Millrose games since Janay DeLoach won in 2016.
