Dimond Hockey preps for annual holiday fundraiser game

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The holiday spirit and hockey go hand-in-hand. That’s why the Dimond Lynx will hold their annual fund raising game against rival South at Ben Boeke Arena on December 13.

The game will benefit both Toys for Tots and the American Diabetes Association.

You don’t have to wait for the game to give, you can drop off unwrapped toys at Dimond High School now.

The lynx typically wear special holiday jerseys for the game, and you will also find a signed Ottawa Senators jersey at this year's silent auction donated by Lynx alumnus Nate Thompson.

Coach Dennis Sorenson says donations for the American Diabetes Association will be monetary, and for more information on this year's fundraiser you can follow this link.
