ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Dimond High School standout Alissa Pili was named MaxPreps' Female Athlete of the Year for the 2017-2018 year on Friday.
Pili, who already has an extensive list of prestigious accolades under her belt, becomes the first winner of the award who hails from Alaska. She's not only lettered in volleyball, basketball and track and field, but has won multiple state titles.
The rising senior already has Div. I hoops offers from programs such as Brigham Young, Butler, Colorado St., Hawaii and Washington. On top of that, she carries a 3.5 grade point average and wants to be an engineer.
