ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - One of Anchorage's own has been named to the U.S. National Junior Hockey Team preliminary roster.
Jeremy Swayman is one of three goalies to make the twenty-eight player roster.
The goalie was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the NHL this summer, and is currently in his freshman season at the University of Maine.
If Swayman makes the team, he'll head to the Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championships from Dec. 26, 2017 - Jan. 5, 2018, in Buffalo, New York.
