King Cove boys basketball team wins school's first ever state championship

Anchorage (KTUU) This team will go down in history.
With only six players, the Tundra Jacks had a hard fought battle against Nunamiut in a back and forth game that was one point the entire way through.

But in the end, King Cove made its free throws down the stretch and came out on top, winning 59 to 54. This the first state basketball title for the boys in school history.

The T-Jacks were led by Gary Gould with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
