Kurgat shatters half marathon women's course record for 2019 Mayor's Marathon

Caroline Kurgat continues to do what she does best: break records.

The former UAA Seawolf set a new women's half marathon course record during the Mayor's Marathon this weekend, with a time of 1:13.51.

She was nearly five minutes faster than the previous course record, which was 1:18.41.

Marine Dusser is your women's marathon winner, running a time of 3:05.49.

The men's winner is Paul Rottich, with a time of 2:27.19. This marks his 4th Mayor's Mararthon win.
