ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - The University of Alaska Anchorage’s Caroline Kurgat is the 2019 NCAA DII women's indoor track 5,000 meter champion.
Kurgat ran a meet, and facility record 16:06.37 Friday at the NCAA DII indoor track and field national championships in Pittsburgh, Kansas. This is Kurgat’s fourth career national championship.
