Ostrander takes 7th in 3,000 meters at U.S. Indoor Championships

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Fresh off her first professional victory at the Millrose Games, Kenai’s Allie Ostrander took seventh in the Women’s 3000 meters at the U.S. Track and Field Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ostrander finished the race in 9:03.55 while Shelby Houlihan won the 3,000-meter indoor national title with a time of 8:52.03.

“Just out here living the dream, doing some extreme mouth breathing, and hacking up 1-2 lungs as I race indoor at 5000ft.” Ostrander wrote on Instagram after the race.
