Dimond's Pili makes high school basketball history

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - In a class all her own, Dimond’s Alissa Pili is Alaska’s all time 4A Girls Basketball scoring leader.

The senior broke Chugiak’s Brit Jacobson’s record of 2,290 points in the first quarter with her eighth point against West Tuesday.

Pili finished the game with 37 points giving her 2,321 points and counting for her career. Dimond went on to defeat West 64-43.

The four year varsity starter is no stranger to success on the hardwood recently signing her national letter of intent to play NCAA Div. I basketball at Univ. of Southern California.
