UAA hockey clinches playoff berth despite losing to UAF

Anchorage (KTUU)- The University of Alaska Anchorage hockey team fell to the University of Alaska Fairbanks in game three of the Governor's Cup 5-2 on Friday night in Fairbanks. The Seawolves led 2-0 in the second period before the Nanook's scored 5 unanswered. With a loss by Ferris State, UAA secured the eighth spot in the WCHA Playoffs.
