Service boys, Dimond girls take 2019 ASAA state swimming titles

Service boys and Dimond girls are your 2019 ASAA state swimming champions.

Service edged out Dimond by just a couple of points, winning 102 to 99.

The Lynx grabbed second place, while West Valley grabbed third, and Eagle River took 4th.

The Dimond Lynx rolled to the girls state title, beating Eagle River 100 to 73. Right behind the Wolves in third is West Valley, and then Sitka took fourth.

Seward's Lydia Jacoby won the 100 meter breaststroke for the second year in a row, finishing with a time of 1:00.61.

Service's Brian Jarupakorn took home the 100 butterfly as well as was on Service's state winning 200 yard freestyle relay.

Your state champions for diving are Wasilla's Andrew Layman and Wasilla's Carrie Mayer for the sweep.
