Sitka takes Division II softball title while East fights through loser's bracket for second straight title

The Sitka Wolves had to play one more game than they thought they would, but despite losing earlier to Ketchikan, the Wolves come back and win 11-3 over the Kings to take the ASAA Division II state softball crown.

In Division I, it's a rematch of last year's state title game, Dimond vs. East.

While the outcome is the same, with East taking it's second straight softball title, winning 11-2 over the Lynx, the Thunderbirds had to fight through the loser's bracket this year.
