ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Former Nanook and Stanley Cup champion Colton Parayko returned to Fairbanks this week to host his second annual hockey camp.
The St. Louis Blues defenseman is holding his camp from the 17th through the 19th.
It's being held at the Patty Ice Arena on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.
Parayko says it brings him joy to see all the support from the state of Alaska.
"It's been such good support from the community, the people of Fairbanks, the people of Alaska and from different areas all over the state," Parayko said with a grin. "It's obviously special for me to have that feeling that people are coming from all over the state to join this camp."
He helped the Blues to their first ever Stanley Cup just a little over a month ago.
The camp is open to boys ages 10 and under.
