UAA Hockey signs Humboldt's Brayden Camrud

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Social media buzzed Thursday after news broke that Humboldt Bronco hockey player Brayden Camrud had accepted a scholarship to play for the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Camrud is a survivor of an April 6, 2018 crash when a semi-trailer truck collided with the Bronco’s team bus, killing 16 passengers.

His road to recovery has been well-documented along with support from the biggest names in hockey.

Camrud had 27 goals and 55 points in 48 games this season for the Broncos in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
