WATCH: Kikkan Randall and Jessie Diggins open up about health, skiing on 'Today'

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Alaska's Kikkan Randall joined Olympic teammate Jessie Diggins on the Third Hour of Today Tuesday morning to talk about life after their history-making gold medal victory.

The two talked about life since they were the first U.S. cross-country skiers to win a gold medal at the Olympics, and some of their health struggles.

Randall, a well-known Alaskan athlete, was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer shortly after announcing her retirement from competitive skiing. In the year since their medal-winning race, Diggins has opened up about her past struggles with an eating disorder.
