The 2019 Wasilla Warriors are your ASAA state baseball champions. The Warriors defeated the Ketchikan Kings 8-6 for the program's first state baseball title.

"It's been four years. I've been working towards this for four years. This team has been working towards this for longer than that," Wasilla senior Clancey O'Donnell said. "Right now, it's kinda surreal that we're here. I honestly, at the beginning of the season, did not think we were gonna be here. We were not the team we are today."

Head Coach Ken Ottinger was close to tears as he talked about how hard his kids have worked for this.

"They deserve it, " he said with a smile.
